Classic 1970's Range Rover towing a caravan

An old classic Range Rover of the 1970's towing a caravan. Looks like a "H" registration making this a 1969 vehicle. An old Rover P6 is lurking in the background.

1970's VW Camper van conversion being towed by another camper van

A lovely blue classic 1976 VW campervan towing a shortened front end only version of the same camper. This would have taken quite some fabrication, take a look at the front wheel arch, window and door on the towing vehicle and compare this to the conversion.

Model A Ford and an Excella 500

Rover P5 broken down parked up with a caravan

 A Rover P5 an a single axle caravan from the same period. Apparently a family were compelled to spend the last five days of their holiday in their parked caravan. The clutch on their car burned out on the Kingston bypass. Here they are pictured having a picnic on the side of the road. Photograph taken in 1972.

Mini Scamp & caravan

 Mini Scamp and a caravan of a similar year. Originally designed and launched in 1969 by Robert Mandry, the Mini-powered Scamp kit car has been developed over many years.
